Prime Minister Ali Asadov visited the grave of National Leader Heydar Aliyev at the Alley of Honor in Baku to mark National Salvation Day.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Cabinet of Ministers confirmed the visit, noting that the Prime Minister paid his respects to the late leader and laid flowers at his graveside.
National Salvation Day, celebrated annually on June 15 in Azerbaijan, marks the return of Heydar Aliyev to political leadership in 1993. This pivotal moment in the country's modern history is widely regarded as the beginning of stability and state-building efforts that laid the foundation for Azerbaijan's contemporary development and sovereignty.
