President Ilham Aliyev has signed the "Board of Peace Charter" document during his visit to Davos, Switzerland. The signing marks a significant step in Azerbaijan's active involvement in international peace-building efforts and humanitarian initiatives.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Republic of Azerbaijan has officially joined the Board of Peace for Gaza in the capacity of a Founding Member State. This commitment underscores the country's dedication to supporting stability and humanitarian relief in conflict-affected regions through multilateral cooperation.

The signing took place on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, an annual gathering of global political and business leaders. Azerbaijan's participation as a founding member of the Board of Peace for Gaza aligns with its growing role as a mediator and contributor to international security. The Board of Peace is designed to facilitate diplomatic dialogue and coordinate humanitarian assistance, reflecting the broader goals of the international community to foster long-term peace in the Middle East.
