President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to US President Donald Trump on the occasion of his 80th birthday.

Dear Mr. President,
It is my pleasure to extend my most sincere congratulations to you on the occasion of your significant jubilee – your 80th birthday. I wish you robust health, a long life, happiness, and continued success and new achievements in your high state activities as a prominent leader of a strong and powerful nation.
You have made invaluable contributions to the formation and deepening of the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and the United States, and we highly value this. The signing of the Strategic Partnership Charter, which was founded during our historic meeting at the White House last August, six months later during the visit of US Vice President J.D. Vance to our country, has elevated Azerbaijan-US relations to a qualitatively new level. This magnificent achievement is a clear manifestation of your unwavering will and determination. We thank you for the great importance and support you consistently attach to the development of our interstate relations.
We are also grateful for your determination in promoting the peace agenda in the South Caucasus. The trilateral joint declaration we signed with your witness in Washington, as well as the agreement on the establishment of peace and interstate relations initialed with Armenia, are the results of your consistent efforts on the path to peacebuilding. At the same time, we view the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" (TRIPP), which will ensure unimpeded connection between the main part of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan and become part of the Middle Corridor, as another contribution to the development of sustainable peace and cooperation in the region.
Dear Mr. President,
I highly value our personal relationship, friendship, deep respect, and trust, and I am pleased with our productive meetings and contacts held in an atmosphere of warmth and sincerity over the past year. The existence of mutual understanding at a high level creates a favorable ground for further deepening our relations in various fields.
Our mutual determination to further develop and strengthen Azerbaijan-US relations in all areas, especially in economic-trade, investment, energy, security, connectivity, technology, and other spheres, is commendable. I am confident that we will continue to successfully pursue our joint efforts toward deepening friendship and reliable partnership between Azerbaijan and the United States, and comprehensively expanding our fruitful cooperation.
