President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree awarding the President of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, Muhammad Sulaiman Al-Jasser, with the "Dostlug" (Friendship) Order.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the high state award was conferred upon Al-Jasser in recognition of his significant contributions to the development of cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Development Bank.
The Islamic Development Bank has been a key partner in Azerbaijan's socio-economic development since the country joined the institution in 1992. Over the past three decades, the IsDB has financed numerous infrastructure, energy, and social projects across Azerbaijan, playing a vital role in supporting the nation's modernization efforts and sustainable development goals.
