A group of military personnel and a civilian worker from the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan have been posthumously awarded the 3rd degree "For Service to the Fatherland" Order. These individuals demonstrated exceptional courage and bravery during combat operations to restore the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and while fulfilling their official duties in protecting the state border.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree to honor their sacrifice and dedication to the nation.
