President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the "Khankendi" hotel on July 11.
According to Operative Information Center-OMM, Ramin Guluzade, Head of the Presidential Administration's Affairs Department, briefed the head of state on the conditions created at the "Khankendi" Hotel Complex.
It was reported that the four-story hotel building has been designed to provide comprehensive comfort for guests. The facility features a total of 101 rooms, including 92 "deluxe," 4 "superior," 3 "deluxe suite," and 2 "executive suite" categories. The hotel has a capacity to accommodate 236 guests simultaneously and includes various public catering facilities, such as cafes, restaurants, and a gym.
The hotel will provide employment for 45 people, 20 of whom are residents from the liberated cities and districts of Azerbaijan.
The development of tourism infrastructure in Khankendi is a key priority, reflecting the broader strategy for the restoration of the liberated territories. The establishment of modern hotels and recreation centers in the historic city of Khankendi not only provides high-standard accommodations for visitors but also serves as a tangible demonstration of the rapid reconstruction dynamics currently underway in the region.
