The “State Program for the development of the mining (metal ores) and metallurgical industry in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027–2030” has been approved.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that President Ilham Aliyev signed an order to this effect.
The Cabinet of Ministers must coordinate the measures envisaged under the State Program, oversee their implementation, report to the President of Azerbaijan once a year on the implementation status and address other related issues.
The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication will monitor and evaluate the implementation of the measures envisaged under the State Program at the request of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan must take appropriate measures each year to provide for the necessary funding during the preparation of the state budget and state investment programs for financing the measures envisaged under the State Program.
The program covers the 2027–2030 period and establishes an institutional framework for coordinating state measures in Azerbaijan’s mining and metallurgical sectors. Such programs generally aim to support industrial development, improve sectoral management and ensure the allocation of budgetary and investment resources.
