New heads have been appointed to the executive authorities of several districts and a city in Azerbaijan.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the appointments.
Under the decree, Natig Oruc oghlu Aliyev was appointed head of the Executive Authority of Baku’s Garadagh District, Mammadia Suleyman oghlu Mammadov was appointed head of the Executive Authority of Naftalan, and Hajibaba Adil oghlu Babayev was appointed head of the Executive Authority of Gadabay District.
Executive authorities represent the central government at the local level and are responsible for coordinating public administration and implementing state policies in their respective administrative areas.
