Yasamal, Nizami və Mingəçevir: 3 ərazidə işıq olmayacaq

Electricity supply will be temporarily interrupted today in parts of the Yasamal and Nizami districts of Baku, as well as in certain areas of Mingachevir, according to an announcement from the state power utility, Azerishig OJSC, to the Operative Information Center-OMM.

Azerishig stated that maintenance work will be conducted at transformer substations within the Yasamal District Energy Supply and Sales Department. Consequently, power supply will be restricted from 10:00 to 13:00 on parts of Mohammad Nakhchivani, Murtuza Mukhtarov, Ibrahim Abilov, Jafar Jabbarli, Fuad Ibrahimov, and Zivar bey Ahmadbayov streets.

Simultaneously, planned maintenance and inspection work at transformer substations in the Nizami district will result in temporary power outages in parts of the Keshla settlement, specifically affecting Pahlivan Farzaliyev Street and the 4th, 6th, and 8th cross streets.

Beyond the capital, infrastructure upgrades are scheduled in Mingachevir between July 8 and 10. A 16 MVA transformer at the 110/35/6 kV "Karxana-601" substation will be replaced with a new, higher-capacity 40 MVA unit. Due to this reconstruction, short-term power interruptions are expected on parts of Muslim Magomayev, Uzeyir Hajibeyov, 20 January, Mirza Alakbar Sabir, and Tabriz streets.

Azerishig noted that these maintenance and reconstruction efforts are essential for improving the reliability and quality of electricity supply in the affected areas. Such upgrades are part of the ongoing modernization of Azerbaijan's national power grid to meet increasing energy demands.
