Repair and reconstruction work on electrical infrastructure will be carried out on October 15 in Baku’s Yasamal and Khazar districts, as well as in the Bilajari settlement, to improve electricity service quality and meet rising demand.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that the information was released by Azerishig OJSC.
During maintenance at a transformer substation in the service area of the Yasamal District Energy Supply and Sales Department, electricity will be restricted from 10:00 to 13:00 on Abbas Mirza Sharifzadeh, Hasan bey Zardabi, Mirali Seyidov and Nariman Narimanov streets, and part of Inshaatchilar Avenue.
In the service area of the Khazar District Energy Supply and Sales Department, repairs at the 35/6 kV No. 491 substation will cause a brief interruption in electricity supply from 10:00 to 13:00 in the Albaliliq and Bina Equestrian residential areas, Buzovna settlement and some parts of Absheron Street.
Electricity cables on the 6 kV double-circuit Masazir-1 and Masazir-2 overhead lines will be replaced in the Bilajari Energy Supply and Sales Department’s service area. Due to the reconstruction work, supply will be restricted from 11:00 to 16:00 in a number of residential areas on 10 May Street and the lower section of the Khirdalan-Binagadi road.
In Aghdash, repairs to several 10 kV overhead lines will restrict electricity supply from 11:00 to 16:00 on Agali, Arif Heydarov, Fariz Safarov, Mahammad Fuzuli, Mushfig Isayev and Nariman Narimanov streets, and Heydar Aliyev Avenue. The restriction will also affect parts of the villages of First Aral, Amirarkh, Guvekand, Khosrov, Second Aral, Gulbanda, Orta Gasil, Sadavat, Shamsabad, Shordahna and Yukhari Laki.
Repairs to a 6 kV feeder from the 110/35/6 kV Mingachevir substation and to a 10 kV overhead line will cause a brief interruption from 10:00 to 15:00 in parts of the villages of Ashagi Salamabad, Baydili, Ajami, Gulovsha, Goyunbinasi and Yukhari Salamabad in Yevlakh.
Maintenance will also be carried out at the 110/35/6 kV Mingachevir substation. A planned outage from 09:00 to 11:00 will affect 20 January, Aydin Mammadov, Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev, Heydar Aliyev, Muslim Magomayev and Shah Ismayil Khatai streets in Mingachevir.
Repairs to the 35 kV Jalair overhead line in Jalilabad will restrict electricity supply from 10:00 to 12:00 in parts of the villages of Buravar, Kovuzbulag, Lakin and Zahmatabad.
Once the work is completed, subscribers in the affected areas will receive higher-quality and more reliable electricity service.
