Electricity supply will be temporarily suspended in several residential areas of Baku today due to planned maintenance and repair work. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the outages will affect territories under the jurisdiction of the Bilajari Energy Supply and Sales Department.
Azerishig OJSC stated that the restrictions are necessary to facilitate repairs on a 6 kV overhead line originating from the 35/6 kV substation No. 80. The power supply will be interrupted from 13:00 to 17:00 in the new residential complex on Ruslan Allahverdiyev Street and the right side of the road leading to the Sulutapa-Khojahasan settlement. The utility provider noted that the quality of electricity supply will significantly improve once the technical works are completed.
Azerishig OJSC, the primary state-owned power distribution company in Azerbaijan, regularly carries out such technical upgrades to ensure the stability and reliability of the national power grid. These measures are part of a broader initiative to modernize the energy infrastructure in the capital and regional centers, aimed at minimizing future technical failures and improving the quality of service for consumers across the country.
