Some areas of Baku’s Yasamal and Khazar districts will face a temporary interruption to their electricity supply today.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that the information was provided by Azerishiq OJSC.
The company said maintenance and reconstruction work will be carried out on the electricity infrastructure in Yasamal and Khazar districts on October 16 to improve service quality and meet rising demand.
During repairs at a transformer station in the service area of the Yasamal District Energy Supply and Sales Department, electricity will be unavailable from 10:00 to 13:00 on parts of Abbas Mirza Sharifzadeh, Mirali Seyidov, Nariman Narimanov, Rahib Tagiyev and Vasif Aliyev streets.
In the service area of the Khazar District Energy Supply and Sales Department, maintenance at substation No. 491 (35/6 kV) will cause a brief interruption from 10:00 to 13:00 in the Albaliliq and Binə Atçılıq residential areas and parts of Absheron Street in Buzovna settlement.
Once the work is complete, residents in the affected areas will receive a higher-quality and more reliable electricity supply.
