Power cuts planned in three Baku districts on Oct. 21

Some areas of Baku’s Yasamal, Nizami and Binagadi districts will face temporary electricity supply restrictions tomorrow, Oct. 21.

Azerishig OJSC announced the planned work, Operative Information Center-OMM reports.

Repair work will be carried out on Oct. 21 in areas served by the Yasamal, Nizami and Binagadi District Energy Supply and Sales Departments to improve the quality and reliability of electricity supply and minimize energy losses, the company said.

In Yasamal, repairs at a transformer substation will restrict electricity supply from 10:00 to 13:00 on parts of Abbas Mirza Sharifzadeh, Hasan bey Zardabi, Khagan Dadashov, Khidir Mustafayev and Mirali Seyidov streets.

In Nizami district, brief power interruptions are expected from 09:00 to 14:00 in some areas of Bahruz Nuriyev Street and Babek and Gara Garayev avenues while relay protection and automation systems are inspected.

In Binagadi, repair and inspection work at a transformer substation will restrict electricity supply from 09:00 to 14:00 in several parts of Mir Jalal Street in the 9th residential area.
