Suraxanıda 13 darvaza oğurlayan dəstə üzvləri saxlanıldı

Police officers in Baku have detained four individuals suspected of stealing industrial equipment and metal structures from warehouses located in the Surakhani district of the capital. The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) reported that the group is accused of stealing 13 iron gates and several water tanks.

According to the information provided by the MIA Press Service to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the suspects identified as I. Mammadov, A. Imanov, N. Albabayev, and H. Babayev were apprehended following a series of operational measures. Investigations revealed that the group had established a network to sell the stolen items to various non-ferrous metal collection points in the city.

The Surakhani district police department is currently conducting a comprehensive investigation into the matter to determine the full extent of the group's criminal activities and identify potential accomplices. In Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has recently intensified its efforts to combat property crimes and the illegal trade of scrap metal, which often serves as a primary outlet for stolen industrial materials. These measures are part of a broader national strategy to ensure public safety and protect private and state property across the Republic.
