Polish Foreign Minister Radoslav Sikorski has announced that Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir is officially banned from entering Poland. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the decision comes after the Israeli official previously attempted to visit the country but was denied permission.

"This year he tried to come to Poland, but we made it impossible. Currently, there is a formal ban on his entry," Sikorski stated. The Foreign Minister further characterized Ben-Gvir as a "chauvinist and narcissist" who poses a potential threat to public order in Poland. Following a formal request from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration, Marcin Kierwiński, signed the official order to prohibit Ben-Gvir's entry into Azerbaijan's partner nations in the EU.

The diplomatic move follows a prior incident where the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Israel's chargé d'affaires in Warsaw. That summons was linked to Ben-Gvir's conduct regarding pro-Palestinian activists from the Sumud fleet. Such entry bans on high-ranking government officials are rare between nations maintaining diplomatic ties and signal a deepening rift over security and ideological rhetoric between Warsaw and the current Israeli administration. The decision reflects Poland's increasingly firm stance on maintaining domestic public order against figures it deems extremist.
