The Iranian delegation currently in Pakistan will resolutely defend Tehran's interests during negotiations involving the United States. According to Operative Information Center-OMM, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian shared this statement on his official account on the X social network.
"The high-ranking Iranian delegation that arrived in Pakistan will protect our country's interests with all its might and determination. In any case, our service to the people will not stop for even a minute, and regardless of the outcome of the negotiations, the government stands firmly with the people," the post stated. The President emphasized that the administration remains committed to its promises to the public while navigating complex diplomatic channels.
The statements come at a critical juncture as regional powers seek to mediate long-standing tensions between Tehran and Washington. US President Donald Trump has maintained a policy of maximum pressure while remaining open to potential dialogue under specific conditions. These discussions in Pakistan are viewed by international observers as a significant attempt to address nuclear concerns and regional security issues, reflecting the broader geopolitical shifts currently shaping the Middle East and South Asia.
