Pension payments for the month of August have been successfully disbursed today across Baku, Sumgait, and the Absheron district, according to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
The ministry confirmed this update to the Operative Information Center-OMM, noting that the pension distribution process for the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic has also been completed.
Pension payments for other regions of Azerbaijan, as well as for individuals entitled to pensions under preferential conditions, are scheduled to be processed throughout the month in accordance with the established payment schedule.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population manages the social security system in Azerbaijan, ensuring the timely distribution of state pensions and social benefits. These payments are a critical component of the government's social welfare policy, aimed at supporting the financial stability of retirees and vulnerable groups across the country.
