Paşinyan: Azərbaycanla sülh iqtisadiyyatı inkişaf etdirəcək

The establishment of peace between Baku and Yerevan marks the beginning of a new phase of economic development for Armenia. According to Operative Information Center-OMM, citing Armenian media, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made these remarks during a meeting with major employers in Armenia today.

"We are entering a completely new stage of economic development, which is directly linked to the peace process established between Armenia and Azerbaijan. In the near future, we expect significant developments regarding the launch of the TRIPP (Trump Route) project," Nikol Pashinyan stated. The Prime Minister further emphasized that railway freight transport to Armenia is already being carried out through the territory of Azerbaijan, highlighting the strategic importance of opening full railway communication with Azerbaijan within the framework of the TRIPP project.

The normalization of relations and the unblocking of regional transport communications are seen as vital components for long-term stability in the South Caucasus. Following the restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, the focus has shifted toward the implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects intended to connect regional markets. The integration of transport networks, including the restoration of Soviet-era railway lines, is expected to significantly reduce logistics costs and position the region as a central hub for international trade between East and West.
