Ovni Muradov appointed Nakhchivan education minister

A new education minister has been appointed in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that the decision was adopted at a session of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on Sept. 25.

Under the decision, Elxan Tarqulu oghlu Najafov was dismissed as education minister of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and Ovni Mehbalı oghlu Muradov was appointed to the post.

It was earlier reported that President Ilham Aliyev dismissed Ovni Mehbalı oghlu Muradov as head of the Babek District Executive Authority of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic under an order signed on Sept. 24.
