More than 370 American service members have been wounded during military operations against Iran that commenced on February 28.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing Trend, that the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has released updated figures regarding the scale of casualties sustained during the ongoing regional tensions.

A spokesperson for U.S. Central Command stated that approximately 330 of the injured personnel have already returned to duty, while five individuals remain in serious condition. This update follows a report by CBS indicating that 15 American service members were injured late last night during an Iranian drone strike targeting the Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait. To date, the Pentagon has confirmed the deaths of 13 American soldiers since the start of the operation. Dan Kane noted that the vast majority of injuries sustained by American forces were the result of precision strikes by Iranian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

The escalation comes amid a period of heightened military readiness in the Middle East, where U.S. President Donald Trump has emphasized the protection of American interests and regional stability. The Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait serves as a critical hub for U.S. Air Force operations in the region, providing essential logistics and theater airlift capabilities. These recent engagements underscore the increasing role of drone warfare in modern regional conflicts and the ongoing volatility surrounding maritime and territorial security in the Persian Gulf corridor.
