First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has sent a letter of congratulation to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the letter reads:
"Dear Ilham Heydar oglu,
Please accept my sincere congratulations on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the holy holiday of Eid al-Adha.
It is symbolic that Eid al-Adha coincides with the state holiday. May this great holiday, filled with goodness for all Muslims, lead humanity to high spiritual values and bring the mercy and compassion of the Almighty Creator.
I wish the brotherly people of Azerbaijan continuous rapid development and prosperity, and also express my best wishes for the achievement of all goals under your leadership.
I hope that the mutual respect we have built with you will continue for many years.
