Prime Minister of Northern Cyprus Unal Ustel has expressed his gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the continuous support provided to his country.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Prime Minister made these remarks during his speech at the meeting of heads of government and vice presidents of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held in Baku.
"I express my deepest gratitude on behalf of myself, my government, and the Turkish Cypriot people, who have never retreated from their struggle for freedom, to President Ilham Aliyev, who gives us strength with his unwavering faith in Turkic unity and his endless support for Northern Cyprus. Ilham Aliyev's vision that 'The Turkic world is our family' is the strongest pillar of the will present in this hall today," Unal Ustel stated.
The Organization of Turkic States, formerly the Turkic Council, serves as an intergovernmental organization comprising Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan as member states, with Northern Cyprus holding observer status. The organization aims to promote comprehensive cooperation among Turkic-speaking states in areas such as economy, politics, and culture. Azerbaijan has consistently played a leading role in fostering these ties, emphasizing the strategic importance of Turkic integration for regional stability and collective prosperity.
