North Korea launched an unidentified projectile into waters off its east coast on Saturday, South Korea’s military said.

Seoul’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said its forces detected the launch but provided no further details, South Korean news agency Yonhap reported. No information was released about the projectile’s type, range or impact location.

The launch came 13 days after Pyongyang test-fired two short-range ballistic missiles from the Wonsan region on Sept. 20. The missiles were launched hours apart and aimed at the East Sea.
