No fire reported at Baku Congress Center, ministry says

No fire has been reported at the Baku Congress Center.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) issued the statement.

The ministry said its personnel are currently deployed at the site in connection with an international event being held at the Baku Congress Center.

"The ventilation system in the kitchen area was activated. The situation is fully under control and there is no reason for concern," the statement said.

Footage claiming that smoke was seen at the Baku Congress Center was circulated on social media.

The Baku Congress Center is one of the capital's major venues for international conferences and other large-scale events. Emergency services are routinely involved in ensuring safety during such gatherings.
