Myanmada ağır yol qəzaları: 9 nəfər ölüb, 18 nəfər yaralanıb

At least nine people have been killed and 18 others injured following two separate road accidents in Myanmar's eastern Shan State.

Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the Xinhua news agency, reports that the fatalities occurred when two passenger minibuses overturned in the region, leading to severe casualties. Local emergency services responded to the scenes, and the injured were immediately evacuated to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.

Authorities in Myanmar have launched an official investigation into the causes of the accidents. Preliminary reports suggest that the incidents involved passenger transport vehicles navigating the challenging terrain of the mountainous state. Law enforcement officials are currently examining whether mechanical failure, road conditions, or driver error contributed to the fatal crashes.

Shan State, the largest of Myanmar's administrative divisions, is known for its rugged topography and winding roads, which frequently pose risks to commercial and passenger transit. Road safety remains a significant concern in the region, where infrastructure challenges and high traffic volumes often lead to a high frequency of traffic-related fatalities and injuries.
