Neftchi Baku has completed another transfer ahead of the new season, strengthening its squad with the addition of Brazilian midfielder Gustavo Klisma Dimaraes Miranda.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the 26-year-old footballer has officially joined the club, signing a 2+1 year contract. The acquisition is part of the team's ongoing efforts to bolster its roster for upcoming domestic and international competitions.
Klisma, who has spent the majority of his professional career in Portugal, brings valuable experience to the Baku-based club. In 2025, he played on loan for the Japanese side Vissel Kobe. During his tenure with his previous club, Santa Clara, he made 74 appearances, recording three goals and seven assists. Neftchi, one of the most historic and successful clubs in Azerbaijan, frequently utilizes such international transfers to maintain its competitive edge in the Azerbaijan Premier League.
