The third meeting of the Partner Countries’ Capability Interoperability Initiative and a Level 1 self-assessment exercise have concluded under the Partnership for Peace Programme between Azerbaijan and NATO.
The Ministry of Defense provided the information to Operative Information Center-OMM.
Senior military personnel from the Ministry of Defense, a NATO delegation and a monitoring team observed the exercise.
Participants were first briefed on the scenario, the exercise’s conduct, safety rules and assessment process, and the objectives were explained.
Participants then carried out the assigned tasks in practice. Observers gave high marks to the units’ performance and to personnel’s readiness, knowledge and skills.
At the end, certificates, certificates of merit and other awards were presented to distinguished military personnel.
