NATO leaders have gathered for the traditional "family photo" as part of the 36th NATO Summit of Heads of State and Government currently underway in Ankara.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, footage from the summit has been released, showing the heads of state and government from member countries assembling for the commemorative photograph prior to the official commencement of the summit program.
The "family photo" is a long-standing tradition at NATO summits, symbolizing the unity and collective commitment of the alliance's member nations. This year's summit in Ankara is particularly significant, as it marks the first time in 22 years that the Turkish capital has hosted such a high-level gathering of the alliance's leadership, underscoring Turkey's pivotal role within the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
