Nakhchivan Teachers Institute to be dissolved under government decision

Nakhchivan State University is being reorganized through the merger of the Nakhchivan Teachers Institute into the university.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed a decision on the matter.

The decision states that Nakhchivan State University is the legal successor of the Nakhchivan Teachers Institute. All rights and obligations, as well as the institute’s property, will be transferred to Nakhchivan State University.

The Ministry of Science and Education has been instructed to address the issues arising from the decision.

Reorganization through institutional mergers is used to consolidate administrative and educational resources and streamline the management of higher education institutions.
