Bəxtiyar Musayev, head of the Scouts Department in AFFA’s Technical Department, has shared his views on Sabah’s match against Slavia in the main phase of the UEFA Champions League.
Musayev described the Azerbaijani club’s performances on the European stage as a source of pride and thanked Sabah for bringing major teams to Baku. He said the team had played bravely against Manchester United and remained true to its style.
The veteran footballer said he believes Sabah will maintain the same approach against Slavia. He said that although the opponent is an established club that has dominated the Czech league for many years, he has confidence in his team.
“I believe Sabah will play confident and courageous football in front of its home fans. Their support will give the team extra motivation. I hope that, alongside a good performance, it will achieve the result we want and secure a victory,” Musayev said.
The Sabah-Slavia match will kick off at 20:45 today at Baku Olympic Stadium.
