The Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic of Mozambique, Esperança Bias, has arrived in Azerbaijan for an official visit.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the visit is centered on the Speaker's participation in the 20th session of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States, which is currently being hosted in Baku.
During her stay in the capital, Speaker Bias is expected to hold a series of high-level meetings with Azerbaijani officials to discuss the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between the two nations. The Parliamentary Union of the OIC serves as a vital platform for fostering dialogue and collaboration among member states, and Azerbaijan's hosting of this event underscores its active role in promoting international parliamentary diplomacy and solidarity within the Islamic world.
