The Milli Majlis (National Assembly) will prepare monitoring reports, analytical briefs, reviews and policy proposals on a number of issues.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the issue has been included in the work plan of the parliament’s Human Rights Committee for the 2026 autumn session.
The committee’s work plan includes:
- Preparing a regional monitoring report and analytical brief on the state of human rights, territorial equality and access to public services in the regions;
- Preparing a comparative legal review on “The right to make audio and video recordings in public places, privacy and the legal balance between these rights and data protection”;
- Conducting legal monitoring of the implementation of decisions by administrative bodies and administrative courts, and preparing legislative proposals;
- Preparing a monitoring report and policy recommendations on physical and digital accessibility for persons with disabilities when accessing public and private services;
- Preparing a comparative policy document on the social and legal protection of veterans, war participants and families of martyrs, based on international practice;
- Preparing a review of international practice on “Demographic changes and long-term social care policy”;
- Preparing monitoring and policy recommendations on ensuring human rights in the liberated territories, including return, property rights, access to services and inclusive settlement.
