The Milli Majlis (National Assembly) has officially adopted amendments to the law "On General Education" in its final reading, establishing a legal framework for dress code requirements in state-run general education institutions.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the draft law was presented for discussion during today's session of the parliament's extraordinary session.

The primary objective of this legislative change is to clarify the legal basis for existing regulations and ensure their uniform application across all state-run general education institutions in Azerbaijan. The document also establishes a legal framework regarding attire for educators, aiming to foster a professional work environment and strengthen organizational culture within the school system.

Following the parliamentary debate, the draft law was put to a vote and successfully passed in its third reading. This initiative is part of broader efforts by the Ministry of Science and Education to standardize school environments and improve the overall educational infrastructure in the country.
