The Milli Majlis (National Assembly) has approved its legislative work plan for the 2026 fall session.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the work plan was included on the agenda of today’s first meeting of the parliament’s fall session.
The fall session’s work plan includes consideration of bills forming part of the state budget package, as well as the newly drafted Civil Service Code.
The session is also expected to consider newly drafted bills on “Encouraging and protecting persons reporting offenses related to corruption,” “Free legal aid,” and “Agriculture.”
Following discussion, the draft work plan was put to a vote and adopted in a single reading.
Parliamentary session work plans set out the legislative priorities for the relevant period and provide a framework for reviewing budget, administrative and sector-specific legal initiatives.
