English referee Michael Oliver will officiate the match between PSG and Barcelona in the third round of the UEFA Champions League league phase. UEFA announced the appointment on its official website. Kick-off is set for 11 p.m. Baku time on October 20.
Oliver will be assisted by fellow Englishmen Stuart Burt and James Mainwaring. Robert Jones will be the fourth official. Italian Marco Di Bello will be in charge of VAR, assisted by compatriot Daniele Chiffi.
In the teams’ last five meetings, PSG have won three times and Barcelona once. The other match ended in a draw.
In the seventh round of the French league, PSG came from behind to beat Strasbourg 3-1. Barcelona defeated Betis 5-2 in the ninth round of the Spanish league.
