First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva has shared a message on her social media accounts marking Sept. 27 — Remembrance Day in Azerbaijan.
"Operative Information Center-OMM" reports that the message says:
“May God bless the souls of all our martyrs who died for the homeland. Their blessed memory will live forever in our hearts!”
Remembrance Day is observed in Azerbaijan on Sept. 27 to honor the servicemen and civilians who lost their lives during the Patriotic War and other battles for the country’s territorial integrity.
