Real Madrid beat Sevilla 4-1 in the ninth round of the Spanish league. The match, played on October 18, kicked off at 11 p.m. Baku time.
Arda Guler opened the scoring in the 30th minute. Kylian Mbappe scored in the 37th and 63rd minutes to complete a brace. Bueno scored Sevilla’s only goal in the 80th minute, and two minutes later Diomande netted Real Madrid’s fourth.
Mbappe has scored in four of his last five games against Sevilla. The French forward has five goals and one assist in five matches against the club. The only game in which he failed to score was in the 37th round of the 2025-26 Spanish league season, when Real Madrid lost 1-0.
Mbappe, 27, has scored 11 goals and provided three assists in 11 appearances across all competitions this season. The forward is considered one of the leading contenders for the Ballon d’Or.
