Mariya Zaxarova: Qərb Kiyevin "qanlı dişləri" ilə üzləşəcək

Maria Zakharova, the official spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has issued a sharp critique of Western countries' policies regarding Ukraine. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Zakharova made these remarks during an interview with Sputnik radio.

Zakharova suggested that the Kyiv administration, currently backed by the West, could eventually turn against its own benefactors. She argued that Western nations are already beginning to face the repercussions of the political processes currently unfolding in Ukraine.

To substantiate her claims, the diplomat cited the inclusion of Polish leadership representatives on the Ukrainian "Mirotvorets" website, suggesting this is not an isolated incident of friction between Kyiv and its allies. Zakharova emphasized that Western states have played a significant role in creating the current situation, employing the idiom that they are now "reaping what they have sown."

The ongoing conflict in Ukraine has created complex geopolitical dynamics, particularly concerning relations between Kyiv and its European partners. Recent reports indicate that center-right deputies from the party led by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk have demanded that criticism of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy be reflected in the European Parliament's annual report regarding Kyiv's EU membership application. A vote on this matter is expected to take place on July 8.
