Manchester United are assessing potential targets to strengthen their attack ahead of the January transfer window.
"Operative Information Center-OMM" reports that Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy is among the players being monitored by the club’s scouts.
Guirassy has previously been on the club’s radar
The 30-year-old forward has long been of interest to Manchester United. The English club also considered signing him in 2023, but ultimately recruited Rasmus Højlund from Atalanta.
Guirassy joined Borussia Dortmund in 2024. He has scored 64 goals in 102 appearances for the German club.
Borussia want to keep the striker
The Dortmund side have no intention of weakening their squad because they are relying on Guirassy in the title race.
The striker has scored four goals and provided two assists in four matches at the start of the current season.
Manchester United’s interest reflects the club’s efforts to add attacking options during the January transfer window. Borussia Dortmund, meanwhile, will seek to retain key players as it pursues domestic success.
