Macron reaffirmed at the meeting that Paris was determined to continue supporting Kyiv.

As Russia chooses to escalate tensions, it is crucial to provide Ukraine with all the necessary means to protect itself, its civilian population and its infrastructure,” the French leader said.
Macron also stressed that France would continue to support Ukraine’s efforts to achieve a lasting and long-term peace:
“France will continue to meet its commitments,” he added.
Zelensky is in Brussels to attend a meeting of the European Council and hold talks with other leaders. The European Council brings together the EU’s heads of state or government to set the bloc’s political direction and priorities.
