A lunch has been hosted in Tbilisi in honor of President Ilham Aliyev, who is currently on a state visit to Georgia, on behalf of Bidzina Ivanishvili, the Honorary Chairman of the ruling Georgian Dream party.
The official event, held in the Georgian capital, brought together high-ranking officials to discuss the strengthening of bilateral ties between the two neighboring nations. During the gathering, the sides emphasized the importance of strategic partnership and the deep historical roots that bind Azerbaijan and Georgia together in various sectors, including energy, transport, and regional security.
Azerbaijan and Georgia maintain a high level of strategic cooperation, serving as the backbone of major regional projects such as the Southern Gas Corridor and the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway. These initiatives not only enhance the economic stability of the South Caucasus but also play a critical role in the energy security of Europe. State visits of this nature underscore the commitment of both Baku and Tbilisi to further integrating their economic and political agendas within the framework of regional development.
