Liverpool interested in Beşiktaş captain Orkun Kökçü

Orkun Kökçü, the midfielder and captain of Istanbul-based Beşiktaş, could continue his career at one of England’s leading clubs.

Operative Information Center-OMM, citing foreign media reports, said Liverpool are closely monitoring the 25-year-old’s performances.

Two other English clubs are also reportedly interested in Kökçü, although their names have not been disclosed.

The Transfermarkt portal values Orkun Kökçü at 25 million euros. The midfielder’s contract with Beşiktaş runs until the end of June 2030.

Kökçü has made six appearances in the Turkish Super Lig this season. He has scored one goal and provided two assists in those matches.

Beşiktaş is one of Türkiye’s most established football clubs, while Liverpool is among England’s historically prominent teams. Interest from Premier League clubs could therefore lead to further transfer developments before the relevant transfer window closes.
