Liverpool plan to monitor Aston Villa midfielder Johan Manzambi during the season and could move to sign him in summer 2027, The Sun reported.
The newspaper says the 20-year-old is being considered as a possible successor to Alexis Mac Allister, who has reportedly attracted interest from Real Madrid.
The Swiss footballer joined Aston Villa last summer. He has made five appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing three assists. Manzambi’s contract with the club runs until summer 2031. Transfermarkt values the midfielder at 65 million euros.
