A planned inspection has been conducted at a liquid gas filling station owned by individual entrepreneur Gulmali Ganjali oghlu Ganbarov in the village of Ashagi Avshar, Aghjabadi district, Azerbaijan.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations told the "Operative Information Center-OMM".
The inspection found that periodic checks had not been carried out on the safety valves installed on two liquid gas tanks at the station. The tanks had also not undergone the required technical inspection.
Given that the identified violations could not be eliminated immediately and posed a threat to human life and health, operation of the liquid gas filling station was suspended. A copy of the report prepared to address the violations was provided to the owner.
Routine inspections of facilities handling liquefied gas are intended to verify compliance with technical and fire safety requirements and help prevent risks to workers and the public.
