Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Azerbaijan’s chairmanship of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia would help strengthen regional cooperation.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov wished Azerbaijan success during its chairmanship of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA).
Operative Information Center-OMM reported that he made the remarks at CICA’s 7th Summit in Baku.
Lavrov thanked Azerbaijan for its hospitality and for organizing the event to a high standard.
“I wish Azerbaijan success as chair of our conference,” Lavrov said.
