Police in Gakh district seized a large quantity of drugs during an operation, preventing their sale.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs press service told the “Operative Information Center-OMM” that the operation was carried out by officers of the Gakh District Police Department.
As a result of the measures, H. Hasanov and A. Gurbanov were detained. More than 7 kilograms of drugs were found in their possession. The detainees said they had acquired the drugs for sale.
A criminal case has been opened. A court has ordered both suspects held in pretrial detention.
