H. Mammadov, who is suspected of fraudulently obtaining more than 150,000 manats from citizens in Lankaran, has been detained by police.
The Operative Information Center-OMM was informed of this by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The investigation established that H. Mammadov presented himself to victims as someone with contacts in various institutions and made false promises to arrange pensions, secure well-paid jobs and provide other services. In this way, he allegedly obtained more than 150,000 manats in total from citizens.
A criminal case has been initiated. A court ordered pretrial detention for H. Mammadov. The investigation is ongoing.
