Paris Saint-Germain have issued an official update on the nature of their players’ injuries. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will undergo surgery in the coming days after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
Ousmane Dembele sustained an injury to his left thigh, while Marquinhos injured his right thigh. The club said both players will receive treatment over the coming weeks.
All three players were injured and substituted during the match against Barcelona in the third round of the Champions League league phase. The game, played on October 20, ended in a 4-2 win for PSG.
