The Kremlin has declined to comment on reports regarding the arrival of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei in Moscow for medical treatment, according to a statement by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary for the Russian President.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the information was initially circulated by Russian media outlets during a regular press briefing. "We do not comment on such reports in any way," Dmitry Peskov stated in response to journalists' inquiries regarding the matter.

Reports suggest that Mojtaba Khamenei was transported to Moscow via a Russian military aircraft under strict secrecy due to concerns regarding his health and security. This development comes amid heightened regional tensions and ongoing strategic cooperation between Tehran and Moscow. Historically, high-ranking officials from allied nations have occasionally sought specialized medical care in Russia, though such visits are rarely confirmed by official Kremlin sources to maintain diplomatic and security protocols.
