Ceyhun Bayramov: Postmünaqişə strategiyası gələcəyə xidmət edir

Azerbaijan's post-conflict restoration efforts must be evaluated as an integral part of its peace-building strategy, aimed at ensuring long-term regional stability.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov made these remarks during an event titled "Cities at the Center of Connectivity: Urban Reconstruction and Regional Cooperation," held as part of the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).

The minister emphasized that this comprehensive strategy serves the construction of a more prosperous future for the region. He noted that the large-scale reconstruction projects currently underway in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, including the restoration of infrastructure and the implementation of "smart city" concepts, are designed to facilitate the safe and dignified return of displaced persons while fostering economic integration.

The World Urban Forum, established by the United Nations, is the premier global conference on sustainable urbanization. By participating in such international platforms, Azerbaijan continues to highlight its commitment to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, particularly in the context of rebuilding cities and settlements in Garabagh and East Zangezur that were affected by decades of occupation.
